How to Sell
How Tim added video to every listing
Rendy Spotlight: Tim Bennett
Tim Bennett runs Cinematix Real Estate (cinematixre.com) solo. And he's found a way to add video as an easy upsell to every single listing.
His entry strategy is simple: new agents get the first video free.

"Most of my agents are adding these, especially when they find out about them. That's why I throw it in at the beginning for a new agent, just give them a free video so they know what they're purchasing." Once they see static photos turn into a video with sound, captions, and motion — they're sold. Existing clients pay $100 per video. Most add it without hesitation. For Tim, it sits at the right price point — more than just photos, less than a full walkthrough video. An easy yes for agents who want something in the middle. "It goes from having static images to a polished video with sound, captions, everything right there." And the pitch to other photographers is just as simple. "Try it out, run the free trial. You won't regret it, and your clients will absolutely love it." See my full convo with Tim below 🙂
Our full conversation with Tim Bennett
Q: Tell us about your background — how many shoots do you handle and what does your team look like?
My name's Tim Bennett, owner of Cinematix. I work alone — a one-man team. I do about 60 property shoots per year.
Q: How do you add Rendy — is it an upsell or built in? How do you position it?
I typically give a free video to all my new clients, and then for existing clients, it's $100 per video — just an upsell for me. Most of my agents are adding these, especially when they find out about them. That's why I throw it in at the beginning for a new agent, just give them a free video so they know what they're purchasing.
Q: What results have you seen — any impact on revenue, client reactions, biggest win?
Just that my clients love them. It goes from having static images to a polished video with sound, captions, everything right there. And it's very easy to do — a couple clicks, and they get it. The turnaround's really fast.
Q: What advice would you give to someone who isn’t using Rendy yet? How should they start?
Just try it out, run the free trial. You won't regret it, and your clients will absolutely love it. It's something easy to offer if they don't want a full walkthrough video that is much more costly. This is a good alternative — it's kind of right in the middle as far as price goes.
