How to Sell

How Danny adds $225/shoot with Rendy

Rendy Spotlight: Danny Garcia

Danny runs Agents Choice Media in Metro Atlanta — 600-700 shoots a year.

Here's exactly how he profits with Rendy...

Danny Garcia

"I've (Danny) added it to certain packages. The photo-generated videos have been very well recieved from agents who have never done video before." "For the entry level, I sell one MLS horizontal video for $75 — delivered same day as photos or within 24 hours. For social, I sell three reels for $150. I also offer a combo of both for $225." "For agents who want to be on camera but aren't ready for a full production shoot, I film a 10-second intro clip at the property, combine it with the Rendy video in CapCut, and deliver a polished branded video for $150." "I position it by asking agents: 'Have you ever been interested in video for your listings?' If budget comes up, I ask: 'If it were affordable, would you consider it?' That usually opens the door." And his advice to anyone not using Rendy yet? "What are you waiting for? If you want to increase your average order value, give clients more value for their dollar, and help agents start posting on social — this is the easiest way to do it." "It's a simple upsell — you just show them one and they're sold." See my full convo with Danny below

Our full conversation with Danny Garcia

Q: Tell us about your background — how many shoots do you handle and what does your team look like?

We're probably at about 600 to 700 shoots for the year. My team are all contractors — they mostly handle photos and Zillow tours, some do drone depending on certification. I've got one guy who works almost exclusively with me. Last year in June he was just learning how to shoot real estate, and about four months in he was shooting a $3 million home with me. He's now my highest paid contractor and does just about everything. I'm covering the Metro Atlanta area as much as possible, but it's become tough in certain areas to find the right fit. Still looking for the right person in the south end of Atlanta.

Q: How do you add Rendy — is it an upsell or built in? How do you position it?

I've added it to certain packages and I'm restructuring to have a clear distinction between actual video shoots with our photographers versus videos generated from photos. The photo-generated videos have been very welcome for agents who have never done video before. For the entry level, I sell one MLS horizontal video for $75 — delivered same day as photos or within 24 hours. For social, I sell three reels for $150. I also offer a combo of both for $225.. I give agents a 4-day posting strategy with the reels: a coming soon teaser on day one, a "goes live tomorrow" post on day two, their full agent video on day three, and an open house teaser or campaign post on day four. For agents who want to be on camera but aren't ready for a full production shoot, I film a 10-second intro clip at the property, combine it with the Rendy video in CapCut, and deliver a polished branded video for $150. I position it by asking agents: "Have you ever been interested in video for your listings?" If budget comes up, I ask: "If it were affordable, would you consider it?" That usually opens the door.

Q: What results have you seen — any impact on revenue, client reactions, biggest win?

The net profit on the horizontal MLS video is around $60. On the verticals, after cost, it's around $125. It's a simple upsell — you just show them one and they're sold. The biggest impact has been getting agents who would never have ordered video to start using it regularly. I also use it as a goodwill gesture — if there's ever an issue with a client, I'll throw in a free video as a $75 value add. It's also a great incentive: shoot with us and get a free video created from your listing photos. We also recently established preferred vendor status with a small brokerage, and the Social Six-Pack is their favorite service that we offer.

Q: What advice would you give to someone who isn’t using Rendy yet? How should they start?

We would recommend Rendy to anyone not currently offering it. It's a fantastic way to offer videos to agents on any budget, and it doesn't require any special gear, training, or additional time while you're on the property. I started with a different AI photo-to-video tool, but there were a few big issues: frequent hallucinations, no rollover credits, and only one video per order. Rendy solved all of those problems for us. Rendy is a great service for agents that understand the importance of video and social media to grow their online presence, but often lack the knowledge, time, or discipline to create that content themselves.
