How Keith grew AOV with Rendy

Rendy Spotlight: Keith Kersey

Keith and Amanda are a husband and wife team based in Richmond, Virginia — ~250 real estate photo shoots/year.

Here's why they include Rendy in their packages...

They include the 'Social Six-Pack' in their packages to to add value and to get agents who don't normally order video to start using it. Let Keith explain... "Just receiving video assets on a regular basis will encourage those clients to need more videos or order more videos in the future." And it's working... "We've definitely seen our average order value increase since adding the service. Two of our top three most viewed reels on Instagram are collaborative posts of our Rendy videos shared by happy clients. We also recently established preferred vendor status with a small brokerage, and the Social Six-Pack is their favorite service that we offer." This is a pattern we're seeing across the board. Rendy has become a gateway to video for agents. At an affordable price point, the barrier to experimenting with video is lower — and once they see results, they want more. Whether that's more Rendy or a premium video offering. See my full convo with Keith below 🙂

Our full conversation with Keith Kersey

Q: Tell us about your background — how many shoots do you handle and what does your team look like?

We are a husband and wife team based out of Richmond, Virginia. I started the business in 2021 as a solo shooter and quit my full-time job earlier this year. Amanda joined the business in 2024 with the primary role of networking and client acquisition. We are currently at 250 shoots per year as a team of two.

Q: How do you add Rendy — is it an upsell or built in? How do you position it?

We call our Rendy service the Social Six-Pack. We offer it as an upsell for almost all of our a la carte services, and we've also included it in some of our packages to add value. We position it as a very budget-friendly option for clients that don't order our premium videos yet — hopefully, just receiving video assets on a regular basis will encourage those clients to need more videos or order more videos in the future.

Q: What results have you seen — any impact on revenue, client reactions, biggest win?

We've definitely seen our average order value increase since adding the service. Two of our top three most viewed reels on Instagram are collaborative posts of our Rendy videos shared by happy clients. We also recently established preferred vendor status with a small brokerage, and the Social Six-Pack is their favorite service that we offer.

Q: What advice would you give to someone who isn’t using Rendy yet? How should they start?

We would recommend Rendy to anyone not currently offering it. It's a fantastic way to offer videos to agents on any budget, and it doesn't require any special gear, training, or additional time while you're on the property. I started with a different AI photo-to-video tool, but there were a few big issues: frequent hallucinations, no rollover credits, and only one video per order. Rendy solved all of those problems for us. Rendy is a great service for agents that understand the importance of video and social media to grow their online presence, but often lack the knowledge, time, or discipline to create that content themselves.
