How to Sell

After 10,000 shoots, here's how Scott upsells video in minutes

Rendy Spotlight: Scott Prokop

Scott is a solo photographer based in Saskatoon, Canada (scottprokop.com) . He's been shooting real estate since 2012 — over 10,000 homes, 600–700 shoots a year, 3–5 shoots a day.

Every new product that comes out, Scott tries it. If it fits, it goes into the workflow. Rendy made the cut...

Scott Prokop

He built it into a brand new package in 2026 called the Social Media 6-Pack. Agents get a traditional walkthrough video plus 6x Rendy videos — one for each of the next six days. Seven days of video content from a single shoot. "Instead of just one video which shows the house, now you're keeping the interest going. That's where Rendy is huge." The best part? No extra time on site. Scott's already taking the photos. "I'm already shooting the photos. You pick 20, upload them, Rendy does its magic, you check the videos and deliver. That's it." For packages where it isn't included, it's an easy upsell. Agents can add it a week later if they want — Scott already has the photos. "If they want it a week later, they can add it a week later. I just put them into Rendy, pop it out, and I've upsold and made a few bucks with a few minutes of work." See my full convo with Scott below 🙂

Our full conversation with Scott Prokop

Q: Tell us about your background — how many shoots do you handle and what does your team look like?

I've been doing this since 2012 and have shot over 10,000 houses. I'm solo — no employees. All my support is AI now: AI editors, AI for social media. That lets me concentrate on what I love, which is photography, video, and drone. I shoot three to five shoots a day, which adds up to around 600 to 700 a year.

Q: How do you add Rendy — is it an upsell or built in? How do you position it?

I created a brand new package in 2026 called the Social Media Six-Pack. Agents get a walkthrough video plus six Rendy videos — so they have seven days of video content from one shoot. That's what Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts want. It keeps the listing interesting and alive, and it shows the agent is doing work that other realtors in the market aren't doing. For packages where it isn't included, it's available as an upsell. And because I already have the photos, agents can add it days later if they want — it makes no difference to me.

Q: What results have you seen — any impact on revenue, client reactions, biggest win?

My biggest win is how little effort it takes. I'm already taking the photos. You pick 20, upload them, Rendy does its magic, you QC the videos and deliver. That's it. If they want it a week later, I just put the photos into Rendy and I've upsold with a few minutes of work. Clients love it. It's something new, something different, and it keeps them posting. Realtors using this stand out from everyone else in their market.

Q: What advice would you give to someone who isn’t using Rendy yet? How should they start?

Try it. Pick one of your nicest shoots, upload 20 photos, and see what comes out. Pick 20 that will look great in vertical crop and just try it. You'll get amazing photo-to-video conversion, AI effects, text overlays, music that syncs automatically, and a branded version for the agent. Upload, check, deliver. It's as easy as that. I still know many real estate photographers who don't offer video because they don't feel confident creating it. What many of them don't realize is that Rendy makes it easy to offer a professional-looking video with very little effort, and most clients are perfectly happy with an AI-generated result because the quality is excellent. If I were starting over today, I'd build it in from day one. The right combination of AI tools and you have a business that runs itself — and lets you focus on the shooting, which is why we all got into this.
