Rendy Intelligence beta, listings on your phone & guided tours

  • Rendy Intelligence (beta) — Rendy learns how you arrange your listings and pre-arranges new uploads the same way: best photos, order, effects and camera moves. Everything stays editable. Beta-list only, toggled in Preferences → Rendy Intelligence.
  • Listing page on your phone — Your videos show in a grid; tap one to watch it fullscreen and swipe between videos. Download works from your phone, editing stays desktop-only.
  • Guided tours on the listing page — A short tour on your first listing walks you through Download, Edit and Edit All.
  • Rename a listing's address — Double-click the address on a listing card or page header (long-press on a phone) to rename it.
  • Music sorted longest first — Songs in the Media page and the editor's music dock now list longest first.

Re-order photos on upload & text preset fixes

  • Re-order photos on upload — You can drag photos into the order you want in the upload window, and your video follows that order.
  • Text preset fixes — Text presets now fill in more reliably with the listing's address, price, beds, baths and square footage.

Live preview in the editor, suggested music syncs & PNG uploads

  • Live preview in the video editor — A preview card sits at the top-right of the video editor on desktop. Click it to open a player that shows your video with your current edits (clip order, music and text) before you save, drag it anywhere on the canvas, and press − to tuck it away again.
  • Suggested syncs when trimming music — When you drag the trim window over a song's waveform, dashed "Suggested sync" boxes mark the best parts of the song to sync your clips to, and the window snaps to them.
    • Up to 3 suggestions per song, spread across the track: a long, a medium and a short one.
  • Easier timing in the editor — Press the space bar to play or pause the music in the video editor. While the music plays, the clips row scrolls to follow the clip that's playing, and while you move the trim window each clip shows how many seconds it gets.
  • Music upload limits — Uploaded songs can be up to 10MB and up to 5 minutes long. Files over either limit are skipped with a message saying which ones.
    • A song with the same file name as one already in your library is skipped too, so you don't end up with duplicates.
  • PNG photo uploads — You can now upload PNG photos alongside JPEG, JPG and WebP. They're converted to JPEG automatically. HEIC/HEIF photos still aren't supported.
  • Listing details in your local currency — Every new listing now gets its address and listing details ready in the Text dock, even if you've turned off automatic text hooks in Preferences. Prices use the listing's local currency, for example € for listings in euro-area countries.

Rendy V3 for everyone, new text presets & Auto Top Up

  • Rendy V3 for all users — Rendy V3 is now open to everyone: every new listing is created on V3, with videos that play instantly and edits you see right away.
    • Listings created before the switch keep working as they did.
  • New text presets — Seven new animated text presets for your address and listing details, each with its own entrance and exit animation. New presets now appear first in the Text dock.
    • Address: Classic Address, Bold Address, Boxed Address, Typewriter Address, Left Blue Line Address.
    • Listing details: Listed At 2 and Address Stats.
  • Flexible text fields — Text presets hide any field you leave empty, and price and square-footage fields take free text, so you can write any currency or unit (e.g. €850,000 or 120 m²).
  • Reverse any clip — Turn on Reverse Clip in a clip's advanced menu in the video editor to play that clip backwards, and turn it off to play it forwards again.
  • Auto Top Up — Never run out of Listings mid-week: in Settings → Billing, choose a minimum balance and how many Listings to buy, and Rendy tops you up automatically when you reach it. You'll get a notification each time it runs, or if the payment fails.
    • Available on subscription plans.
  • More options before cancelling — Cancelling from Settings → My Plan now lets you pause your plan for 1 or 2 months, or downgrade to a smaller plan with your unused Listings rolling over, instead of cancelling outright.

Rendy V3 — soft launch

Rendy V3 is here: a faster way to create and edit your listing videos. We're opening it up gradually, starting with active subscribers.

  • Instant previews — Your videos play the moment you open a listing — no waiting for a render to finish before you can watch them.
  • Edits that apply instantly — Reorder or delete clips, change the music, trim, or update your branding and see the result right away.
    • Re-rendering or swapping a photo only waits for the new clip itself, not the whole video.
    • Your final video is prepared when you download it.
  • Faster loading for everyone — Your videos, listing thumbnails and preset samples now load from servers closer to you, so they open noticeably faster on every account.

Smarter Auto camera & pricing on the homepage

  • See what Auto camera picked — Clips using the Auto camera movement now show the movement Rendy actually chose, e.g. "Auto · Crane Up", and Auto is available on the re-render clip cards too.
  • Pricing on rendy.io — The homepage now has a full pricing section, and a new Pricing link in the navbar takes you straight to it.
  • Trusted by & customer spotlights — A new "Trusted by" section on the homepage, plus new customer case studies and spotlights.

Faster, clearer downloads

  • Faster downloads — Downloading several videos now renders them in parallel, so multi-video downloads finish much sooner.
  • Better file names — Downloaded videos are named after their preset instead of an internal template ID.
  • Clearer progress — The download progress toast shows the time remaining in minutes and seconds.

AI actor families, branding trim & crop, and a Billing tab

  • Actor families — In the Actors tab of the editing dock, open Settings and pick a family to give every AI actor in your video a consistent look. Pick it again to go back to each preset's own cast.
    • Applies to newly generated videos.
    • A guided tour introduces it the first time you open the Actors tab.
  • Trim & crop branding videos — When you upload a branding video, you can now trim it and crop it to portrait or landscape right in the branding modal before saving.
  • Billing tab in Settings — A new Billing tab in Settings lets you manage your payment methods, invoices and billing details in one place.
    • Coming soon: Auto Top Up — automatically buy more Listings when your balance reaches a minimum you choose.

Camera Control (Beta) — direct the camera yourself

Take full manual control of how the camera moves through each photo, instead of picking only from preset movements.

  • Camera Control (Beta) — A new editor in the Camera tab of the editing dock: flip on the "Camera Control (Beta)" toggle and shape the camera movement for any photo with six sliders, with a live preview of the move before you apply it.
    • Six axes: Horizontal, Vertical, Zoom, Pan, Tilt, and Rotate — combine them freely to build your own movement.
    • Picking a preset (like Push-In or Slider Left) fills the sliders, so you can start from a preset and fine-tune it — any tweak becomes a "Custom" movement.
    • An interactive viewport shows the start and end framing as you drag, and nothing changes on your clip until you hit "Apply movement".
    • Custom movements are saved per photo and carry over when you re-render a listing.
    • A guided tour walks you through it the first time you open it.
  • Camera Controls on the homepage — A new section on rendy.io showcases Camera Controls with a video demo of the feature in action.

Swap Photos & undo/redo in the editor

Replace individual photos in a listing you already rendered, and step backward or forward through your edits while editing a video.

  • Swap Photos — A new Swap Photo tab in the listing editor lets you replace any photo in a rendered listing with a new one — Rendy regenerates just that clip while the rest of your video stays untouched.
    • Pick any clip, choose a replacement photo, then crop it and apply VFX or camera movements before applying.
    • Undo a swap any time before you apply it.
    • Claim your 3 free swaps on first use; each swap after that uses 1 swap from your balance, and you can buy more when you run out.
    • Available on paid plans, on desktop. A guided tour walks you through it the first time you open the tab.
  • Undo & redo while editing — The video editor now has full undo/redo, so you can experiment freely and step back through your changes instead of redoing them by hand.
    • Covers clip reordering and removal, music selection and trim, and text edits.
    • Use the undo/redo buttons in the editor header, or press ⌘Z / ⌘⇧Z (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y on Windows).

Re-render in any orientation & a unified editing dock

Re-render any listing in the opposite orientation, two new ambient animations on your Preferences page, a single combined dock for every editing effect, and a redesigned cancellation flow.

  • Render in a different orientation — Take a listing you already rendered and re-render it in the opposite orientation — portrait to landscape, or landscape to portrait. It reuses the original photos and effects so you just review and submit.
    • Open the menu on any listing card and pick "Render portrait/landscape version".
    • Counts as a new render and uses 1 Listing from your available listings.
  • Ceiling Fans & Leaves Swaying — Two ambient animations are now live on your Preferences page (previously "coming soon"). Set them once for portrait and landscape and they apply to every new render:
    • Ceiling Fans Spinning — when Rendy detects a ceiling fan in your interior shots, it animates it to spin.
    • Leaves Swaying — when Rendy detects trees or plants in your exterior shots, it animates them to sway naturally.
  • One unified editing dock — Camera movements, VFX, staging, actors, and start/end frame are now in a single dock so you can move between them without switching panels. Everything lives behind one set of tabs with a cleaner, easier-to-navigate layout.
  • Redesigned cancellation flow — A clearer, redesigned flow when you go to cancel your plan, with refreshed UI and copy.

Guided tours & a new Preferences page

In-app guided tours that walk you through Rendy, plus a Preferences page to set editing defaults that change your output videos.

  • Guided tours — Step-by-step walkthroughs that spotlight the right controls as you go. Three are available:
    • Upload tour — creating a listing: address, format, effects, render.
    • Start & End Frame tour — picking a start and end photo for a camera transition.
    • Edit Video tour — text hooks, reordering clips, and music.
  • Preferences page — Set your editing defaults once and apply them to every render — saved separately for portrait and landscape:
    • VFX as Hooks — play your VFX clips first as the opening hook.
    • Text Hooks — auto-add a text hook to the start of your videos.
    • Clips Order — Auto Arrange, or Keep Upload Order.
    • Reset to defaults in one click.
    • Coming soon: Ceiling Fans, Leaves Swaying, Video Length, Speed Ramps.

New camera controls & visual effects

A big upgrade to the listing-video editor — new camera moves, frame transitions, and AI effects, all applied per clip.

  • Start & End Frame transitions — Pick a start photo and an end photo, and Rendy generates a smooth camera motion between them.
  • Camera Movements — Apply a specific camera move per clip, with a new Advanced View grid and live preview. Includes Auto, Push-In/Pull-Out, Slide, Orbit, Crane, Pedestal, and Static.
  • Virtual Staging — Turn an empty room into a furnished one. Set whether the room is empty or already staged, pick a style, and add an animation.
  • Actors — A new Actors effect category to bring people into your shots. (Advanced settings coming soon.)
